MRI lecture & excursion

The LEC has arranged a short lecture and excursion on the 9th of may from 15:30 till about 18:00 to see more of chemistry in practice, specifically in the medical field. An MRI- and CT-specialist of Siemens will tell us all about the technical aspects of MRI and how the images are created through magnetic fields, radio waves and other aspects of NMR. After this short lecture, we will be able to see an MRI scanner in the VUmc, where a clinical physicist will tell us more about the MRI scanner itself.

The lecture will take place in HG-0G28.
