Science Park Activities committee (SPAcie)
Usual composition: 1 or 2 members from the five big study associations at Science Park. (ACD, Congo, NSA, Spectrum and via)
General description
The SPAcie organises monthly activities for al Science Park students. The faculty has a yearly budget of approximately 5 thousand euros. The focus of these events is supporting community building at Science Park for students who are not very active at study associations. Some of the activities are quite large, like a big sporting day, but others are smaller, like a how to make a pizza workshop.
Is this committee something I want?
Are you super creative, enthusiast, a hero in organizing and do you want to form a bridge between people? Then we need you! Every association at Science Park has their own habits and traditions, but that doesn’t matter in the SPAcie. Everyone is welcome no matter how active you are at your own association. We are also looking for international students.
Example of our committees work
The beta bands night is a yearly event organised by the SPAcie. Everyone is dancing to different kinds of music from our own students. However, this event could not be possible without people starting on time to arrange a location, a date, inviting bands, making sure the right set up is present for every band and much more.
