Acquisition Committee
The acquisition committee is a committee that strives to establish partnerships between (chemical) companies and the ACD. We offer advertising opportunities (banners, posters, posts) and special events. These partnerships are very important to the ACD, because without the companies we would lose a large part of our income.
ACTIE
ACTIE!
The Activities Committee (better known as ACTIE!) organises activities focused on sports and games. Examples include ice skating, swimming, and bouldering.
CWAL
Active Members Appreciation Committee
The Active Members Appreciation Committee is responsible for appreciating active members. They do this by organising activities for ACD members who sit on one or more committees. Examples of activities include celebrating SinterCWAL, Jeu de boules, and a cocktail and mocktail evening.
Advisory Board
The Advisory Board provides solicited and unsolicited advice to the association's management.
ABC
Algemene Bar Commissie
The General Bar Committee (ABC) is responsible for the weekly Friday drinks at Bar de Brainwave at Science Park. They organise both regular drinks and themed drinks. Examples include: pirate drinks, carnival drinks and purple Friday drinks.
AJW
AllYearsWeekend Committee
The AllYearsWeekend Committee organises an annual weekend trip to a city, usually within the Netherlands or just across the border in Belgium or Germany. The focus of this weekend is mainly on having fun, so no excursions to companies or universities are organised.
Almanac Committee
The Almanac Committee produces an almanac prior to the anniversary year. The booklet contains interesting articles and photographs of (board) members, committees and professors, among other things.
Cooking Committee
The Cooking Committee cooks for the General Members' Meetings and for the Christmas dinner.
EJC
First-Year Committee
The First-Year Committee organises activities specifically for first-year students to help them get to know each other better. The members of this committee are therefore all first-year students.
BEC
Foreign Excursion Committee
The Foreign Excursion Committee organises an annual excursion abroad. During this excursion, forty to fifty students visit various companies and universities. There is also time to explore the city.
Gezellie
De Gezellie (formerly HOCKEY (formerly DeCo)) is responsible for small 'Gezellie' activities. Examples include decorating mugs, decorating cupcakes or brightening up (often with paint) something in one of the association rooms.
ICT
ICT committee
The ICT committee is responsible for maintaining the ACD's software and hardware. This includes the website you are currently visiting, which we have worked on for the past year. You can also contact the ICT committee if you have any questions about the speakers, the payment system, or the screen in the association room.
KasCo
Kascontrolecommissie
The Kasco checks the treasurer's accounts and ensures that all expenses incurred are justified.
KOESt
Kommissie Opvang Eerstejaars Studenten
The Kommissie Opvang Eerstejaars Studenten (KOESt) is responsible for welcoming first-year students by organising (or assisting with the organisation of) the Faculty Introduction (FI) and the First-Year Weekend (EJW).
Lectures and Excursions Committee
The Lectures and Excursions Committee (LEC) organises lectures and excursions with the aim of providing a broad overview of both chemical research and the application of chemistry within industry. To this end, excursions to various partners are organised, as well as lectures and excursions within the university.
Lustrum
Lustrum Committee
This year, the Lustrum Committee is organising a number of special activities to mark the 16th anniversary of the ACD. These include a dinner for former board members, a lustrum gala, a reunion activity and a lustrum symposium.
Blad
Magazine committee
The magazine committee is responsible for publishing The ACiD, the ACD's periodical. ACiD is published three times per academic year and sent to all members and donors of the ACD. In ACiD, you will find photos of our drinks parties, celebrations, activities, lectures and excursions, as well as news and facts from the world of chemistry, interviews with students, researchers, business people and professors.

Master Activity Committee
The Master Activity Committee organises activities of all kinds specifically for master students.
Party Committee
The Party Committee organises parties, including the annual gala with the NSA and the end-of-year festival at the University of Amsterdam called FLUX.
Promotion Committee
The Promotion Committee is responsible for internal promotion within the ACD.
